A mystery adventure for younger teenagers
When Joanna visits her cousin Megan in Spain the girls hardly expect to become involved in a dangerous adventure. Meg and Jo soon detect suspicious behaviour from a mysterious stranger and assisted by Meg's spaniel Maxie they decide to investigate. The twelve-year-old girls are each called upon to use their own special personal talents and skills when, aided by Maxie, they follow the stranger to Skull Island and discover its dangerous secret - and have to run the gauntlet of a terrifying murderous chase to safety and justice, in which Maxie himself plays his part.
