There's a prize of $50,000 for the first team to fly across the bottom of the world. It's the mid-1920s - but it's a very different world. For one thing, the Kaiser started the War in 1912, and it only lasted a year (there was no Russian Revolution). For another, the world is doughnut-shaped - and no one actually knows what lies through the hole in the middle. Superstitious souls believe the bottom of the world is the location of Hades.
