Trouble begins for Jake when he is awarded custody of his juvenile delinquent nephew Kip. On the first night the teen is in Jak's house, an ex-client's partner is found murdered iun jake's bedroom, and Jake finds himself the prime suspect. Faced with disbarment and prison, Jake heads to Colorado where the evidence leads him to an abandoned silver mine.
