Mary Leo began her writing career with the Harlequin Flipside line in 2004 with Stick Shift, which was nominated for a Romantic Times award for Best First Book/Series. After moving from Chicago to Pennsylvania to Las Vegas to San Jose, with a short run in Orange County, and a year or two in L.A., then another stint in Orange County, and on to San Diego, then back to Pennsylvania for two more years, and most recently back to San Diego, Mary can truly say she has a restless spirit or an odd need to pack up her stuff. Whatever the reason, she's decided to remain in beautiful San Diego with her husband, author Terry Watkins, who is oh-so-supportive of his wife's moving obsession.
