Mandla Langa was born in Durban, and has lived in Lesotho, Mozambique, Angola, Zambia, Hungary and the United Kingdom. His various previous roles include: Cultural Representative of the ANC in Western Europe; Vice-Chairperson of the africa95 Exhibition in London; Sunday Independent columnist; and Programme Director at the South African Broadcasting Association.
