Ilsa

This is the story of a man's unrealized love for a woman across the years and through several catastrophic events. From the moment Henry Porcher first sees Ilsa Brandes he falls in love. Later on when he returns to the sleepy Southern city where they grew up together he finds her married- then widowed, but still her independent self and he renews his silent courtship.
