My first name is Liam and as for my last name, I have had many. I live with a group like me that have lived well past their lifetime. One of our group, I suspect, is over a thousand, though no one dares to ask him his real age.
We recently ended up on the West Coast in my dream house, right on the ocean. Because we didn’t really age, we can usually stay a decade or two in one place, if we were careful. This time though, we hadn’t even unpacked and an unexpected and unwanted visitor already had us considering another move.
One man had our past colliding with our present and threatening our future. I wasn’t about to let that happen.
