I admit I am one of them.Lettie:
Since second grade when Dane used to pull my hair and chase me around the art table, we've ben inseparable.
The only girl at his birthday parties. The only boy allowed in my room. Camping. Swimming. Riding. You name it we've done it together, except the one thing.
How can I focus on punching my ticket to the Olympics and earning a gold medal in Equestrian if I can't get Dane out of my head and into bed? Just once and maybe I could get him out of my system.
Dane:
Were graduating this year and if it goes as planned, Ill be off to the NBA.
Ive had it all mapped out since I was ten... to have Lettie by my side. In my bed. With a ring on her finger. But Lettie Maxwell cant take a hint and rather than lose my best friend, I stand by and watch her parade around in those short AF dresses and those riding boots, hanging on other guys.
Maybe its time for Little Miss Lettie to swallow a spoonful of her own medicine.
But will fear of rejection and a laugh in the face keep us from crossing the line from best friends to lovers? Or will we stand on the line, look at the basket and shoot to win?
