Sometimes, the smallest things in life can take up the most room in your heart…

Warren Park

Society called him “the underdog” until he became one of the most sought-after athletes in the country. At the time, Warren Park was well on his way to becoming the future of English football—but after a career-ending injury cut his dreams short, the only thing people call him now is “Coach.”

Never in a million years did Warren think that standing on the sidelines could fulfill a part of himself that longed to be back on the pitch. That changed after he acquired the Head Coach role at Crawfield Football Club—a small, poor-performing team located south of London.

Crawfield FC is Warren’s second chance, a fresh start, and under no circumstances will he allow anything to get in the way of that. Not money, not status, not greed and especially not…love.

Delaney Matthews

She’s a socialite with a life of luxury and following to match, but after the passing of her beloved Gramps—the only person who truly understood her, Delaney realizes that the richness of life can’t be defined by the swipe of a card.

In the aftermath of Gramps’ passing, the Matthews family discovers that amongst one of his many assets is Crawfield FC—the English football club he devoted his life to. Seeing the team as of no value, her parents decide that selling it for quick cash is the only way to proceed. But letting go of Crawfield FC would mean letting go of the final piece that ties her to Gramps; a sacrifice Delaney’s unwilling to make.

With three months to turn the team’s fate around, Delaney’s met with her biggest challenge yet. Not a new country, not a new job, but a grumpy football coach who proves that in order to play the game, she’ll have to play by his rules.
