British secret agent Richard Blade is again hurled into the parallel Dimension X, and finds himself the champion of a threatened nation. Blade must find a way for the outnumbered Zungans to beat back one aggressor bent on capturing slaves and another bent on conquest. He must face down treachery from within his adopted people while setting Zunga's enemies against each other. Blade must defeat vicious priests, ambitious queens, and a sixty-foot serpent with foot-long fangs if he is ever to return to Home Dimension.
