David Cunane, Manchester's most off-beat private eye, walks a thin line between booze, the wrong women, and a string of lost causes. But when he is called in to find 19-year-old Rachel, he is drawn into the maze of Manchester's underworld, and begins to realize that someone is after Rachel.
