was born and raised in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn.Her interest in writing for children and young adults began several years ago when she was scouring library shelves looking for great books for her kids to read. She discovered that she was the one who absolutely loved reading about teenagers. So, she set to work and got her first book published in 2002.
