About Alice Chetwynd Ley
Alice Humphrey was born on 12 October 1913. As Alice Chetwynd Ley, she was
a writer of historical romance novels from 1959 to 1989. She was the sixth
elected Chairman (1971-1973) of the Romantic Novelists' Association. She
passed away in 2004.
