About Stephanie Kuehnert
Stephanie was born St. Louis, Missouri in 1979. She moved to the Chicago area with her parents and younger brother, Daniel in the late eighties. Stephanie got her start like most authors by writing bad poetry about unrequited love and razor blades back in eighth grade. That was also around the time she discovered punk rock.

Stephanie Kuehnert recommends
Songs for a Teenage Nomad (2007) Kim Culbertson "The best kind of song takes you on a roller coaster ride of emotions. It makes you think. You find yourself humming and pondering it for days. Songs for a Teenage Nomad does the book version of this. It's an unforgettable story that music lovers in particular will appreciate, but every teenager trying to find their place in the world should read." | John Belushi Is Dead (2010) Kathy Charles "A page-turner... captures the grime beneath the glitter in L.A. and finds the heart of what it means to be a teenager trying to understand both life and death." | Saving June (2011) Hannah Harrington "Saving June is an incredible debut." |
