![]() | Double Play (2000) (The second book in the Moffatts on the Road series) A novel by Nancy Krulik |
Oh no! Teen pop rock stars--and brothers--the Moffatts have hit a monster snafu in their cross-country tour schedule. Somehow, they ended up booking concerts at both the Livingston, Pennsylvania, high school and the local senior citizen center! The boys' managers (their parents) have assigned each of them a job on the business end of the band. Since Clint is in charge of scheduling, it's up to him to resolve the double-booking predicament. To make matters worse, Clint has made a date with a cute girl he's met in Livingston, but he may have to cancel it in order to fix the problem--unless identical twin Bob can step in as a pinch hitter on the date. Just imagine the complications that might arise from this scenario, multiply them by 10, and you have an idea of how things progress in this second title in The Moffatts on the Road series.
The musical Moffatts have rocked audiences all over the world with their soulful, danceable harmonies. Check out the Moffatts in concert, on CD, or in their book series, including book one, Home Is Where the Heart Is, starring older brother Scott. (Ages 8 to 12) --Emilie Coulter
