Autumn 1944: In his frontline castle, Hitler is putting the final touches to his last great surprise attack in the West: the Battle of the Bulge. To assist the surprise assault, Skorenzy, the head of Hitler's "Hunting Commandos" suggests a Trojan Horse operation - to order the 250,000 German POWs in the UK to break out on the same day as the attack commences. But Lieutenant Washington Lee, Intelligence Officer with the Second US Armored Division, stumbles across the plan. He is determined to find out the ringleaders within the camps. But no one will believe him, so he goes AWOL to carry out his plan. Now it becomes a three-sided race between Lee, the US authorities and Skorzeny's SS in the UK to carry out the plan before the great attack starts...
