A lifelong writer and bookseller, Joanne Kennedy ran away from home twenty years ago and was surprised to discover that cowboys still walk the streets of Cheyenne.. Her fascination with Wyoming's unique blend of past and present led her to write contemporary Western romances with traditional ranch settings.

Joanne has worked as a bookstore owner, manager and buyer for various independent bookstores as well as a major national bookstore chain. She lives in Cheyenne, Wyoming.
