Remedy for Love

(1972)
A novel by

It was a long time since a Rigg had lived at Riggholm, and when Simon Rigg suddenly appeared on the scene and took up residence there, the local people and not the least of them Susan Thorpe - were very curious about him. They were more than prepared to welcome him - until Simon made it very plain that all he wanted was to be left alone. But his off-hand ways didn't deter Susan, who some how managed to fall in love with him. What was the mystery about Simon? Was he just naturally a 'lone wolf'? Or was there something more sinister behind it all - something, for instance, connected with the unhappy little Caitlin Hughes who had also fallen disastrously in love with him? And was any of it Susan's business anyway?

Genre: Romance
