On the night of his thirteen birthday, Matt's parents tell him that he's actually half-vampire and is about to go through his vampire changeover period. Matt then has to get to grips with things like fangs, musty breath and being awake all night - as well as dealing with the everyday life of a thirteen-year-old boy!
