After his narrow escape from the World Peace Alliance, Patch travels to a "safer" setting near the ranching community of Demon's Bluff," Nevada. Few remember how the town got its name. Some say demons and angels once fought a great battle here, but now only the demons return every year to reclaim the town. They angels, they say, lost interest. The townspeople don't actually believe the stories, but they use them as a great way to make money through the annual "Demon's Bluff Spirit Fest." The gathering draws everyone from the falsely "spiritually enlightened" to the mildly curious. Just as the WPA puts a reward out for Patch's capture, his old friends show up at the festival and threaten to blow his cover. Patch's attempts to alert the townspeople to the danger of toying with the supernatural fall on deaf ears--until the supernatural forces make themselves known!
