In Puerto Vallarta to escape a failed marriage and the death of her infant son, Teresa stumbles onto a murder/kidnapping. She takes off with her eight-year-old boy, trailed by a team of mercenaries all the way into the States. Her only hope is a burn-scarred ex-agent who was responsible for her own son's death.
