"Red Blizzard" is set in the Dakota Territory during the conflict between Red Cloud, Crazy Horse, and the U.S. Army. Pawnee Perez is an army scout, distrusted by some of the officers and hated by the Sioux. He's also the only man who can make his way through the hostile Sioux surrounding the fort and ride for military reinforcements. Henry Wilson Allen wrote under both the Clay Fisher and Will Henry bylines and was a five-time winner of the Spur Award from the Western Writers of America. He was born in Kansas City, Missouri. Over a dozen films have been based on his work.
