Robert H. Redding was born in Hawaii and raised in Alaska. He now lives in northwestern Washington with his wife Peg. He has published sixteen books of various kinds and is never far from his word processor.

Robert has always loved western novels for their adventure and honest convictions. He feels that in order to describe how a rider feels aboard a bronco, a writer needs seat-in-the-saddle experience. His pastimes include horseback riding and hiking the Olympic Mountains.
