When Sammy Kidman, Dallas Police Department detective, takes a specialundercover assignment as chauffeur to an old-money Dallas family, hetangles with three generations of troublesome women: the matriarch,Dolly Threlkeld, made of steel and made over by plastic surgery; herex-daughter-in-law Linda Threlkeld-Rains, who deals in suspicious artand con men; and her daughter Jessica Threlkeld, who'll do anything fora little attention.
