Shawn Starbuck rode out of Mexico with Heather Rustin, escaped prisoner of the Comancheros, in his care. But when they reached Yucca Flat, they found something dead wrong. A band of outlaws was threatening to burn the town to the ground, unless a member of their gang who had been convicted of murdering the marshal and his deputy was turned loose. Starbuck joins the fight to uphold justice, and gets caught smack in the middle of the law and the lawless.
