Pawel Huelle was born in 1957 in Gdansk, Poland. The author of 'Who was David Weiser?' and 'Moving House: Stories', Huelle has lived all his life in Gdansk where he has worked as a journalist in the Solidarity press office, as a university lecturer, novelist, playwrightand director of the Gdansk Polish Television Centre.
