Working for an ambitious defence attorney, Stanley Hastings commands $200 a day to investigate Anson Carbinder's alibi in the case of his wife's murder. The more Stanley investigates the alibi however, the more it crumbles, and when another murder occurs he has to take justice into his own hands.
