With theTreaty of Amiens, William Clavert returns to England to marry. He discovers that he has been promoted to Post Captain, to take command of the frigate Optimist which is in a state of near mutiny. Added to his difficulties he is given a very secret assignment. So secret that very few people even in Government must be allowed to know. So secret it must never be revealed! As a result he is forced to leave his new bride a set sail to foreign parts, where action is the name of the day. he is forced to use very innovative methods if he is to complete the mission successfully. But this is just the start.............
