This book is a collection of a series of seventeen adventure stories which first appeared in Argosy magazine over forty years ago. Each of these stories is based on one of the hazardous occupations Mr. Hubbard had experienced at one time or another. The slang and terminology employed by the people in these professions is used in the stories to give a more authentic feel for the reader.
