(The second book in the Harry Bronson series)
A novel by

While vacationing in South Dakota, retired Dallas police detective Harry Bronson encounters a woman on the run. Linda Randig's parents and husband were murdered, and someone is threatening to kill her son and grandson unless she drives cross-country to Minnesota for purposes unknown. Bronson's offer to help Linda sends him on a journey that brings him face-to-face with a string of suspects and a ruthless killer who threatens to destroy all that Bronson holds dear.
In his efforts to find the culprit, Bronson reconnects with his former partner, Mike Hoover. Together, they sort through a tangle of lies based on a flat-out impossibility: the apparent resurrection of a dead serial killer who keeps leaving fresh bodies behind. Unless Bronson can prove the murderer's identity, more people will die. When local police accuse Bronson of the slayings, he must rely on his wits to save himself and Linda from certain death in the killer's den.
When Death Intervenes is a race-against-time mystery whose twists and turns will lead the reader on a heart-stopping journey of suspense.
