A novel by

The latest novel in a series featuring lawyer Tam Buchanan and his legal student assistant 'Fizz' Fitzgerald. Whilst driving in the Highlands, Fizz and Tam witness a horrific car crash. They rush to the scene where, before passing away, the driver of the car tells them she was being followed by the police who are trying to kill her passenger. A few minutes later a police car arrives and drives straight at the man forcing him to jump into the fierce river. Convinced the man would have drowned the police leave while Fizz manages to rescue him. The three of them return to their guest house where the man claims to have no recollection of why he was being chased or who might be after him. Yet again, Tam and Fizz find themselves embroiled in a complex and dangerous mystery.
