Pecos Gulch, New Mexico, is a wide-open town where gambling, whorehouses, and alcohol are all as "legal" as any line of business. Raider and Doc are in town to solve a silver robbery. They have to work fast, because Big Jake Loman, who runs the town, is coming back soon. Loman knows Doc and Raider are in Pecos Gulch and according to his way of thinking, the only good Pinkerton... is a dead Pinkerton!
