It was a black night for Deputy Ash Kimber when he trailed the shadowy figures along the rangeland that bordered Lobo Creek. He should have intercepted the cattle rustlers or gone to the sheriff, but he didn't want to believe his eyes. Kimber could not have forseen how it would all end.
