Karen Roberts is beautiful, wealthy and popular, so why is someone trying to murder her? Her friends, her aunt, her ex-husband Grant (who still lives in Karens large house and helps to run the small family textile business), and Leigh Bailie, the man who wants to marry her, all refuse to accept that the man who attacked her in her isolated country cottage retreat and left her with amnesia was anything more than a burglar.
