The Bounty Hunter

Bounty hunter Orrin Reed never goes after a man who doesn't deserve to die or be put away, never targets anyone about whom there is any question of guilt, never pursues a person whose crime could possibly have been justified. After Nate Niedermeyer slips through his fingers, Orrin trails him into the wilderness and takes him prisoner. But the river rages high and wild, friends of Nate are riding to his rescue, and the scattered forest provides inadequate cover. Can Orrin escape these deadly straits, or is he doomed?
