Anne Haverty was born in Tipperary in 1959.
She has also published a biography, Constance Markievicz (London, Rivers Oram Press/New York, Pandora, 1988/New York University Press, 1993), and is one of the writers featured in Ladies Night at Finbarr's Hotel (London, Harcourt, 2000). She is a member of Aosdána and lives in Dublin.
