Living alone in a dying Oregon town, Chloe prays that someone will answer her ad for a blacksmith to run the shop which is her only hope of holding on to her homestead. Then along comes Travis McGuire, doomed to the life of a wanderer, who knows that his desire for Chloe has to be contained.
