A novel by

A young girl goes missing, the second in as many months. Although the Police are keen to play down the similarities, there is an undeniable echo of the crimes of Kenneth Wilson, a serial-killer who took the lives of four children over three decades previously. Now an old man, living out his final days in a Maximum Security Prison, the only thing the investigating officers know for certain is that Wilson can't be responsible.
Julie Naismith is a happily married mother of two teenage children, enjoying an idyllic lifestyle with her Investment Banker husband, Greg in their large house to the north of Glasgow. As the grim news emerges about the death of another young girl, Julie becomes increasingly concerned about Greg's erratic behaviour, and who is the mysterious old woman who appears at her door, claiming that Julie's husband is not who he appears to be?
