This coming-of-age story shows how two boys work hard to fix a practical joke gone bad. Brandon and Wayne really enjoy going to the Houston Mounted Police's stables after school to do odd jobs and help out with the horses. That is until they get into trouble with Chris Parker, a rookie cop. After Parker plays a practical joke on Wayne, the boys make a plan of revenge to sabotage Parker's beautiful new horse, Skyjacker. The plan backfires because not only does Parker break his arm, but Skyjacker is kicked off the police force! As they try to make things right, their adventure begins, involving cops and robbers, a high-speed chase, loyalty, and bravery.
