Sara Gran is the author of the novels Dope, Come Closer, and Saturn's Return to New York, in addition to many stories, pamphlets, missives, et cetera. Before making a living as a writer, Ms. Gran had endless jobs, primarily with books, working at Manhattan bookstores like Shakespeare & Co, The Strand, and Housing Works, and selling used & rare books on her own. Born in Brooklyn in 1971, Ms. Gran has lived in many interesting and crime-ridden places She now resides in the state of California.
