There have been many haunted houses, and tales of haunted houses. But this is a tale by a master story-teller, the late Paul Gallico, whose last novel this is - of a house that was haunted by another house. The house was divided into flats, and the three children who lived there, were able to tune in to those who had lived there before. In their wish to explore the rest of the building they made both friends and enemies, and a strange adventure began which ran in parallel with what had gone on long before.
