This book contains two stories: "A Silent Wooing" and "Passers By". These "Two Forsyte Interludes" are from the second Forsyte trilogy, which is called "A Modern Comedy". "A Silent Wooing" is the interlude between "The White Monkey" and "The Silver Spoon". "Passers By" is that between "The Silver Spoon" and the "Swan Song".
