When her family's circus is disbanded and her beloved lion Rexus moved to a private menagerie in Norfolk, Justine volunteers to spend a few weeks settling him in. Arriving at the stately home, she receives mixed reactions from the residents. Lady of the house Priscilla is aloof, while her two daughters seem just a little too curious about the lion. But groundsman Tom's welcome is warm, and as the two grow closer, can Justine keep everyone safe until it's time for her to leave and start a new life elsewhere?
