Kathleen Dolan can't wait to begin work on the Gazette, Rawlings, Oklahoma's paper. On her first day, her car is hijacked, but handsome rancher Johnny Henry rides in to her rescue. As the two of them find themselves falling in love, a supposed pillar of the community plots to use Johnny to keep Kathleen from interfering in an illegal money-making scheme. But will the lovers be able to see through the vicious scheme? Or will the scoundrel drive them apart?
