Katie knows lots of good games, but no one wants to play with her. As hard as she tries, she never quite fits in. Then one day, when the park is covered in fresh snow, "Katie-left-out" knows exactly what to do. She builds her own playmate -- a snowman so small she calls it a snowchild. Much to Katie's surprise, another little girl has had the same idea and builds a snowman right next to Katie's. Before long, the snowchild has a new friend, and so does Katie.
