About Timothy Findley
Timothy Irving Frederick Findley, OC , O. Ont. was a Canadian novelist and playwright. He was also informally known by the nickname Tiff or Tiffy, an acronym of his initials. Findley's work has been widely translated and he has achieved an international reputation. He has received numerous awards and honours in addition to those already mentioned, including the Canadian Authors Association Award, the Order of Ontario, the Ontario Trillium Award, and he has been appointed an Officer of the Order of Canada.
