Margaret Forster recommends
The Mountain of Immoderate Desires (1994) Leslie Wilson "I did enjoy, and admire this novel so much. I was constantly ... held by the evocation of place." | The Diary of an American Au Pair (2001) Marjorie Leet Ford "I loved this book...
