FINAL JEOPARDY: The days of Assistant DA Alexandra Cooper often start of badly, but she's never faced the morning by reading her own obituary before. It doesn't take long to sort out why it was printed: a woman's body with her face blown away, left in a car rented in Alex's name in the drive of her weekend home. But it isn't so easy to work out why her lodger was murdered - or to be sure that the killer had found the right victim ... LIKELY TO DIE: A leading neurosurgeon is found in her office at a New York hospital, soaked in her own blood and rightly considered a case 'likely to die' before she can be got to the operating theatre. She has also been sexually assaulted and Alexandra Cooper is asked to trawl her records for any cases where a similar modus operandi was used.
