Kim Fleet has a PHD in Social Anthropology and is a Fellow of the Royal Anthropological Institute. She lived and worked in aboriginal communities for five years, spending three years working on land-rights. She has worked as a bookkeeper, teacher, bus cleaner and anthropologist. She grows her own vegetables, is a menace on the dance floor, invented the game 'Musical Blobs' and lives with two cats.
