She was born in Santa Cruz, California where she wrote her first story at age five. It was about a Halloween cat! From then on she proceeded to daydream her way through school. Fortunately, she now daydream for a living! Astrology has been a part of her life for over 30 years (her father was an astrologere) and she teaches and consults in this field. She's also an eternal student, subjects including alternative health, Jungian psychology, biology, art history, quantum physics philosophy, mythology, social science and music. Currently she is undertaking a Masters Degree in Writing through OUA.

She loves gardening, reading, web design, Flamenco guitar, gym, the ocean and Iaido training.
